these defects are usually associated with inbreeding,if lines can be established that they were not inbred,then it must be assumed a genetic mutation/anomaly has occurred,

I saw a litter of Collies recently that had enormous heads, fused front legs or back legs and some had exposed insides...awful..some were born dead, but others were still alive. This is the second time the owner has had 'freak' births and she is adamant that it has something to do with what is sprayed on the fields that border her house. Poor things. Bizarely in this same area, we have seen some very odd kittens too.

All my ferret's have been inbred from time to time but ive seen feck all like that before.. .. but then again i dont see any young at all if i dont need to keep any .. ..

I have a deformed one here i call it the little cripple as it's look's like it's feet are attatched to it's shoulder's.. it's 4yr old now and boy does it like the rat's.. ..
