Karl Daw 14
Looking at getting a few mole traps to help someone out does anyone have any experience with this or are they shite Its the Talpex Type http://www.ironmongeryonline.com/category/Moles/1241/?gclid=CPGVhpOc0rYCFXHLtAodLmEAaw Quote Link to post
broadleaf 3
Have no personal experience with those but at that price the chances are they are shite. If you buy them and no good you will have to but more and wasted a whole lot of money.Personally i would advise you to buy the ones from flatpack as i know they are good.If cost is an issue why not buy tunnel traps as they are roughly half the price of talpex and just as effective if placed well Quote Link to post
d6k 11
cheap mole traps ..... Quote Link to post
Dubba 72
I've tried them recently and they've lasted approx 6 months with no issues. They've been out24/7 and although the quality isn't the same they've done well. Only time will tell Quote Link to post
d6k 11
This one was brand new. quality control piss poor in china I got these for a few quid each which is for nothing but half of the batch was no good. If you buy quality traps at least you know they will work. On a positive note I had a load of these harrowed by a farmer yesterday I would have been pissed off if they were genuine 7 quid traps Quote Link to post
hutch6 550
If you haven't already DO NOT BUY FROM THAT SITE!!!! I bought some traps from that site and they are beyond horrific. The quality of the traps is extremely poor and the spring power couldn't even make them into a fancy clothes peg, they are dreadful. I got some from http://www.ratbait.co.uk/talpex-mole-trap-490-p.asp on recommnedation rfom here.Sure they are more expensive but the quality is in a different universe when compared and I have had great success with them. I didn't even bother putting the ironmongery ones down as they would just cause a slow lingering and painful death if they got hold of anything, either that or the mole would probably just wriggle free and be injured in the process- not what you want to inflict I am sure. Hope that helps, Quote Link to post
