Hello,

 

This is my catapult below, it's nothing special but I really like it.

 

 

 

I want to swap the elastic for the gold flat (theraband I think it's called) which I have heard is really good. Pictured below...

 

 

Would this be possible? And is it easy to do properly?

There's a catapult sub-section in the DIY section on here pal, you might have more luck if you try putting it on there.

 

I don't see why it wouldn't work as long as the forks are strong enough

I've just changed to a band one, after many many years of elastic - and it is a big difference for me. I no longer have a rat in the garden stealing the chook food !

u can attach flats the same way u have the elastic now mate

gaz there really easy to attach,just wrap the extra pieces of elastic around about 3 or 4 times and then use a girls head band to pull the elastic through,failing that look on youtube,,,,,how to attach flatbands
