ARRAN 22
my mate has a staffy x, dog around 12 - 18 months old that needs rehoming, just wondering if anyone would take him on. this dog must be kept outside and is not good with other dogs. if this dog is kept in a house he will tear it to pieces. hes not been around young kids, although he is a lovely dog and a fine looking beast. no pictures will be uploaded to avoid attracting the wrong attention because this dog will not go to the wrong people. could make a good guard dog but not sure as hed sooner lick me to death when i see him ! genuine honest reason for rehoming hes lived in a unit all his life and my mate is now getting rid of unit and cant keep dog. bobby blackheart 1,209
your mate has had him 2 yrs-made his money with doing what he been doing in his unit?-why cant he build the dog a kennel and run and keep it?sounds real dodgy to me mate-dogs not socialized-will be a liabiity-get your mate to do the right thing-keep it or put it down if its no good-dont pass on the problem-mho.atb 2 Quote Link to post
ARRAN 22
i know what you mean pal but i dont agree with putting a dog down without trying to give it another life somewere else with the right person first, hes not people aggressive suprisingly hes real friendly to say he doesnt have contact with people that often, and with alot of hard work i think he could be a good dog. he was living in the same unit with a bull mastif until they started to scrap, the bull mastif went to a man who breeds racing greyhounds to be a guard dog i just thought id try to give the other dog the same chance Quote Link to post
bobby blackheart 1,209
you need to find someone with experiance of these dogs-problem is 2 many wankers looking for dogs of this type, who have no idea how to control the type dog-fair play you trying to rehome it-get it snipped before you pass it on 2 anyone most clowns wont want it if he got no balls atb 1 Quote Link to post
dytkos 17,856
I'm all for giving dogs (any breed) a second chance but in some cases the best thing in some cases is PTS. Harsh, maybe but better in the great scheme of things IMO. Cheers, D. 4 Quote Link to post
