Kye 77
Bloody hell, thats my FAVOURITE hobby, EATING!... ...Now im on my cutting weight program, so im only allowed what i need, not what i want!... ...i fecking hate it...my meals are now 1/2 cup of spinach, 1/2 cup of brown/wild rice and 3.5oz of steak/chicken, OR 2.5oz of dry Tuna....do you guys realise how small 3.5oz of steak is!..lol....coming from a man that, when he lived in Vegas, would polish off a 42oz steak, its not great news!... As for Shaun Sherk,...he wont be fighting anytime soon i beleave, due to testing positive...i hope his carrer makes a speedy recovery, it should do, other guys who have tested positive have soon got back on track... You would have to pay me a SHIT load of money to fight that guy...the game plan, if i did fight him?...come out, swinging for the fences, then get taken down, then tap realy quickly!..lol... ... All the best guys.. Jay,.
gnasher16 30,217
Cutting like that im assuming 155 is not your natural weight ? but hey if you can get down to it more power to you !...how long are you out from a fight ?...i cant see it being long before more weight divisions are brought in,which will be a shame....ive always thought it a strange one,you think if you was a boxer at 155 your a light middleweight yet mma your a lightweight...and if your a lighweight boxer at the division limit of 135 your going to have to give 20 lb away to even walk in the cage mma !...also,with only 5 weights i think you get fighters aiming at a weight that isnt always their best weight, rather than fighting at the weight that is best for them,if you get my meaning.....also,more weights = more titles = more money i suppose.....just hope it doesnt go down the road of boxing where you have 175,000 world champions Testing positive didnt seem to do tim sylvias career much harm did it,seems if you admit it and smile nicely its not too harmful....i seem to remember a few years back josh barnett also was it after he beat couture...must admit i had my doubts about sean sherk he is one freakish kind of athlete at that weight ! Swinging for the fences ? jumping over them may be a safer option
Kye 77
Sherk has fought at 185lbs a few times, and done a bunch at 170lbs...of course he now fights at 155lbs, but he walks around at 180lbs...that is why he always looks SOOO much bigger than the guys he is fighting... Gnasher, i have a fight on August 31st...just starting to up my cardio, and drop a little fat...i will get to around 155lbs, then do the rest in water...to be honest, this may be my last fight at 145lbs for a while...it just dont do me any good to get that low...155lbs is where i belong i think!...im still fairly strong at 145lbs (on the Leg Press machine im doing 5x15 with 360lbs) Kye,..
