Prankstaaaa 1
Hi all I have a 15week patterdale pup.i am feeding him on royal canin pup. It says to feed 55g a day for a day. I have upped it to 100g and he still is moaning for more! People have suggested the barf diet. What are the main benefits of this and would you recommend at this age. Thanks
gnipper 6,523
At 15 weeks I'd give it as much as it wanted.

Country Joe 1,411
I will be getting my 10wk pup soon. and rightly or wrongly, i will be feeding four meals a day, two of raw Beef Mince and two of Gain Puppy Feed 28 percent. Will include a little veg to the meat. when he is a little older will start feeding two raw Chicken wings for breakfast. I can also pick up lambs hearts and lamb ribs at the cheap bit on the butchers shelve at my local Supermarket. once a week will feed oily fish. if anyone would wish to add to the above regime, or have a different method please do. LaraCroft 863
I feed 4 times a day at that age - barf and veg, with a dried feed in the evening until they are 6 months or so, then just barf and veg. As pups, I let them eat as much as they want for 5 mins per feed, then take the bowls away. If they are still hungry, I'll add a 5th feed rather than let them eat more at each sitting. Once they are 10-12 months old, they are having about 3% of their bodyweight in food.
