Its_grim_up_norf 577
Just bought myself a nice new s410. whilst second hand also has its advantages, i was trading a rifle in so...seemed like the best option. I was wondering how long 'bedding in' period would be..? should i spend the summer bedding it in with a few tins of pellets, ready for september when i start going out for rabbits again..? is it a really noticable innacuracy? Ive never had a brand new rifle before and this is my first PCP. Thanks for any help. Quote Link to post

Its_grim_up_norf 577
thanks mate. I'd just heard a few people saying I will need to put around 1000 pellets through her before she gets on point. Yeah I've came from a tx200 so the weight is a big big drop. nearly threw the rifle over my head when i first lifted it up haha! atb with you're hunting as well mate, cheers for the reply. villaman 9,983
The best thing to do is clean the barrel with a pull through ,then put about 40-50 pellets through to re lead it then zero in. They come with factory grease in them . Edited April 16, 2013 by villaman Quote Link to post

villaman 9,983
Yes you can mate . Just feed a pull through down the barrel pull out at magazine end ,spray some gun oil on 3 patches if .22 or 2 if .177, do this until the barrel is clean then do one with out oil . Quote Link to post
