Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
yesterday i chronoed my springer, and before testing a different type of pellet i didnt clean the barrel but fired 8 of the new pellets quickly before re testing with the new pellet. dont know if 8 was enough but it was better than zero lol Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
I would say you need to clean the barrel if you are getting the sort of grouping a blunderbus would achieve at 25 yards! Quote Link to post
ghillies 209
try it and see, some like a leaded/dirty barrel, others like their own lead up the barrel etc. so if the grouping goes to pot with the other pellet its time to put a few cleaner pellets through..if its still pap proper clean out, thats the problem with testing new pellets.
