The state of Israel didn't go down too well in more recent history either....... They aren't soldiers or poilticians - they are men, women and children running - probably for charity. The cowardice makes me feel physically sick. I hope the perpetrators are caught and get the death penalty (if they have it in Boston.) Let's see if anyone tries to defend these actions. They deserve the death penalty too. skycat 6,173 Posted April 16, 2013 Report Share Posted April 16, 2013 On the radio there was some explosives/bomb disposal expert who said that it was more likely to be 'home grown' bombers, meaning less likely to be Al Qaeda, as the white smoke produced by the blast was more like a gunpowder type explosive, which has less of a range and is less powerful than the high explosive devices they use as a rule. This also meant that most of the blast was absorbed by the people close to it, which whilst very damaging to those close by, meant that there were less fatalities spread over a wide area. Yep low explosive devices produce a white plume of smoke where as high explosive devices produce a black cloud because they are higher in heat and burn everything around them ..... I wouldn't have though that he bomb was made and planted by any seriouse terrorist organisation it was made with cheap home made chemicals rather than Semtex or a similar explosive and it wasn't planted correctly to cause maximum damage .......... 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
