brookie 1,193
10 million quid is pocket change to a government, they probably iron that out in paper clips every year. She brought this country back from the dead so rest well old girl and thank you. Wilf if its Pocket change then its about time they Invested the exact same amount into the Northern Villages and Towns she Decimated. Easington, Blackhall,Horden, Hesleden,Wingate,Shotton,Wheatley Hill,Seaham,Hetton, Houghton,Hetton Le Hole,Fence Houses,Newbottle,Coxhoe,Kelloe,Trimdon's.Peterlee ect and those are just the few within a 10 mile radius of me. While our own live in Poverty she goes out to the tune of 10 million when her Immediate Family are prob worth 100 million thru Corrupt business deals. They should foot the whole cost themselfe's. Its all been a Tory Charade on par with North Korea's Spin and Lie's. Hopefully the General Public by large have seen thru it. It's got to be Ukip all the way next time around. good post max .heres an indication of the money these tories are creaming of companies these days ,all brought about by privatisation .do some research now on the employees of this company and how many of them are claiming top up benefits on theyre low wages ..top up benefits because the wages are to low .top up benefits out of the tax payers pocket .and they tell us we are in recession yet just one of the b*****ds get 7 million wages .while pensioners and sick people are being criminalised by the b*****ds and being forced to live in poverty http://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/news/article-2310282/Lord-Wolfson-gives-2-4m-bonus-20-000-Next-staff-overseeing-huge-profits.html

The Seeker 3,048
If you hated her politics thats one thing, if you were affected by her policies then i have some sympathy I am not going to do the Monty Python 4 Yorkshireman sketch but I was brought up in a very poor council area and her policies did affect my whole family more than half of which were working in the steel mills throughout this time. The difference between myself and some of the hateful things i have read is was always brought up to respect someone's death. I make no apology either for saying she led us out of probably the worst post war situation this country found itself in and led us away from the diatribe of what was then the union stranglehold of my country we were an absolute laughing stock to the rest of the world before this . Even I can see that if others can't then that's their opinion. I don't care whether you vote for tory or screaming lord such I find disrespecting a dead woman because of politics offensive to her children and grandchildren.
johnny boy68 11,726
And johnny boy, Ive hunted all my life that also puts me in a minority... does that make me wrong as well Nobody mentioned being right or wrong butt, my opinion on you being in the minority was regarding your comment regarding Thatcher and the pits or are you saying that everybody from your area and in the pit think the same as you, I doubt that. I never worked in the pit but my Dad and my brother did aswell as all my uncles, I was in comprehensive during the strike.
