Ortovox D3 is a good set up and yet to see a B&F be as accurate.

Thanks I've read that the d3 is now the patroller does this box beep quicker as u get closer

I would agree with you fireman, I have the D3 and got a second hand B&F.

 

I would say the D3 is more accurate especially as you get closer. I was disappointed with the B&F in that regard.

barryvox pulse is the dogs nuts and id recomend one everytime but the d3 is a good box and a lot cheaper than a barryvox

ours was 300 nearly three years back but there a new version out exact same thing only none of the other functions on it that you never use think its 250 but well worth the money imo its a grey and green one ours is the grey and orange one
