What Candle Power?.

Well my old lamp has finally been laid to rest, god bless its illuminatig soul . So I am laying my grubby little hands on a replacement and feck me there are some bright lights out there . I've always prefered a light around the 300,000 candle power but this is considered a torch nowadays .

 

Anyways got me thinking as to what you honourable and frankly nots so honourable :ph34r: (none of us wanted that ban did we) folks use.

 

Interested to hear your thoughts too on your choices.

i would definately say the 500,000+ lamp, specifically the lightforce striker and also get the dimmer switch then you can have the one lamp for every situation that you might need a lamp for

I use a blue eye 110,000 candle power lamp made by opticrom. I've had it years and find it ideal.

Quite frankly I don't see the need for anything more powerful than that but, I suppose it depends on what your after and where you lamp. If your only running rabbits most of the slips will be under 100 yards so IMO I don't see the need for anything bigger.
