I wanted to breed them this year as they have just came into season, but can they be kept together when they give birth or is it recomended to split them up? Quote Link to post
Rabid 1,936
I usually split mine, but I have successfully had twin litters together, are they first timers ? Quote Link to post
zac1988 18
i would split them just to be on the safe side Quote Link to post
Fat-Ferret 857
I have had ferrets that lived together for years and when one gave birth in the same hutch as the other she rejected the kits......And I have had some that where pretty new to each other and spent the summer tending each others young like they were there own.... It is bet to separate them just to be sure. Quote Link to post
samba 534
it can be be better to split but had two gills rear 21kits between them no bother but if for your own peace of mind split them if you feel better atb Quote Link to post
