I picked up a HW60J .222 with scope for £150 s/h. You just need to shop around for a bargain. Best of luck Quote Link to post
FPO 0
Is this post a wind up or what,?????? What is the matter with you? Can you not give a civil answer to a simple question? Well I could be wrong, but I would imagine the reason MT said that was probably because A. This person shouldnt be asking this type of question if they are experienced because they would know that you dont go blasting at foxes at 300m unless you are at the least a very competant shot or irrisponsible. - the answer to that question would be ' any riffle that he could consitantly put every round into a 2" circle. @300metres' B. He says he bought a gun and imediately stripped it down and put it back together - blew a gas seal immediately - then blames it on being cheap crap Reckon if MT feels he needs to justify his statement he will probably get round to it, could take some time at the moment as I know hes very busy at this time of year on pest control. James@Scarborough 0
Surely wiether you can put shots concistently in a 2" cicle at 300m is down to ammo concistency and the shooter unless the rifle has something wrong with it? I doubt I could shoot a fox at 300m, and would probably not ever attempt it, but I have no doubt that plenty of people do to great effect. I have no doubt that my rifle is capable of it. I do agree that stripping a brand new rifle is pointless. If it has a problem it should be sorted by the supplier. I think it is unfair to judge somones shooting ability unless you have seen it first hand. Quote Link to post
