Ledray Gl4 - Bargain Replacement

Hi all

 

My Ledray GL4 has given up the ghost and I am not in a position to sneak even £50.00 past 'she with the calculator' until one of my Clients decides to pay an invoice (joy of self employment)!

 

I remember from previous threads, some of you have found bargain torches with enough power to do the job.

 

Can you recommend any? Doesn't matter if it doesn't last for eternity, just something with an easy on/off switch and a reasonable beam, adjustable would be a bonus.

I concur with the other two posts because I have both the lights and they will do you a cheap turn.

The zoom (first one I mentioned) is particularly good value, I think. I have one and it's a very sharply defined and very adjustable beam as well as ridiculously bright for the money. Square, though, which I still find weird. Takes an eternity to arrive from China, though. And the batteries supplied are not great, although they'll do. Replace with Panasonic equivalent if they give up.
