Working Plummers

Recommended Posts

Bryanm45,where are you based and what do you wish to work with a pup ?? I'll find you a decent pup if I can as I talk to a lot of the lads that are working them, both registered and unregistered,I'll tell it to you straight, without the bullsh*t some of the breeders make up,don't mind BBB he had some poor examples of the breed a while ago and has been very bitter since, putting the boot in whenever he can unless its "whin" using his avatar to post up drunken rubbish at any opportunity,PM me if you like it may be easier,WM

im no way bitter but i wouldnt want a lad spending his hard erned cash by visiting a breeder that keeps his dogs in filth and runs a breed club and would gladly sell the guy a pup.

or be taken in by lads that leave leave uncollor dogs underground for days on end and need other lads to dig them out dead,...

doesnt say that on the breed club bunth

Hi WC I'm in Northampton, I am looking for a terrier to work with two whippets, bushing, ferreting and ratting, obviously with what I have I don't do anything but rats and rabbit, been reading different threads and it sounds right up the street of a Plummer, lakey and Russell are possibilities so is patt but don't need whatever I get to go to ground, but it has to get on within the pack, Let me know what you think am I on the right track with a Plummer, I don't care about waiting for the right tool for the job.

BBB,I know exactly who you mean but there are lots of other decent lads out there working them properly and looking to steadilly improve their size, temperament, health and manner in which they work, most dogs are failed by their owners lack of time and basic obedience, given both plummers thrive but then most types of terrier would.WM

BryanM45,when you're sure pm me and I'll see whats about for you,I keep a list of lads looking for well bred working plummers and have sold a lot of other lads pups for them before they are born, there's always some that are not prepared to wait for the right thing but its normally worth the wait,WM

Doesn't matter how you bring it on IMO. Why do you think the Fell & Moorland have to rescue some old lady's pet jack Russel because it's gone to ground sonewhere. It's in there blood, there breeding. Even some of the show shit will slip in sometimes. It's just in them. They are terriers after all. Not trying to put you off at all, But if you do decide on a Terrier then you have to be prepared for it.
