People say all this stuff but I guarantee that if any lurcher man would slip the dog if they came across one, personally I don't do it but is I had to but the lamp on and one was sitting I would slip the dog. That's my opinion

how can you guarantee every lurcherman would? not everybodys got the same standards plenty coursing men wouldnt even own a lamp never mind run a hare at night

well i havent and i wouldnt.ive come across a few at night but never let the dog off.Im keeping them for day time runing.its hard enough to find them at the best of times.

Personally if I had permission and the farmer thought hares were a problem I would go out daytime and night time to keep the farmer happy, but then again I have got some permission I only go on for good sport like running hare deer fox ect daytime

ive ran hares on the lamp i think if there run regular you get some excellent sport ,i dont think its for failed daytime dogs ,yes they do make the odd mistakes

but all lamped quarry does , they can still test a dog if given enough lead ,and lamp shy hares do go like joe fxxk

they still know where the exits are in the field when under pressure
