hello fellas :bye: thought since ive been a member of the forum for a few weeks now i should realy start commenting. heres a little bit about myself, im dan, im 21 and im from doncaster. ive only realy got into air rifle shooting recently (about 3 months) even though ive had an air rifle for a few years it was only used for playing around with in the garden every now and again, then one day i came across an air gunning video on youtube and it got me thinking. i did a bit of research and decided it was something i wanted to start doing. i ended up buying myself an armex seeker in .22, which is fitted with a backblow supressor and came origionaly with a walther 3-9 x 32 scope but i didnt get along with it so upgraded to a nikko stirling 3-9 x 50 ao( which to me is better than some of the few hundred and even thousands of pounds scopes ive had chance to use). im currently building my skills with my rifle and am out in the garden near enough every day shooting at staggered targets up to 30 yards( how long the garden is). im getting some realy good groupings (just about a penny) and am starting to make some cracking shots from seated, standing, nelt and prone. i also go to park lodge shooting club on there outdoor air rifle target area but havnt been in a few weeks due to my shooting buddy been busy with work and me not driving. im going to apply for BASC in the next few days and im hoping to find some land to go shooting on, im not picky about the quarry as long as its legal, but id love to bag a few magpies just because ive never realy liked them, and a few rabbits and pigeons for the pot off course :) ive spent the last few months reading a few different hunting, shooting and trapping and snaring books and magazines by the likes of ian barnett and matt manning and if im not reading about shooting or in the garden im watching videos on shooting, hunting and other fieldsports, it has taken a big part of my life up (and my bank balance) but its something that i just cant get enough of. i hope im not gona ask too many stupid questions and make a fool of myself but weve all gota start somewhere, well if youve managed to read all this thank for the time and happy hunting
