captain2010 2,806 Posted April 13, 2013 Report Share Posted April 13, 2013 So what's a harder hare to run a very good hare Irish hare going to obactles wire tight fields,or a very good English hare in massive land no obactacles say both hares running in depths of winter and both hares top class what ye lads think that ran both ????Which is harderWell anyone put any input on this as I only hunted Ireland so anybody hunted both land mentioned who done it before what ye think ?????? captain2010 2,806 Posted April 13, 2013 Report Share Posted April 13, 2013 lads I was talking a man while ago old man that did bit of hunting both sides of the pond he reckons a Irish dog loves the big land over in England no fences obactles to be jumping just massive big land to get onto long ear and work no esacpe,he reckons get your dog that's used to small fields on winter wheat at early age used to the ground and bring them over they should run class no obactiles for Irish dog to go through just what I heard as I never was in England, Quote Link to post
