Mines big -plenty space and 3 acres outside...have to laugh at the "whoa - don't keep working dogs in the house brigde" and they'll be along here soon - I know one guy who thinks all dogs should be ou

I have always kept my dogs in the house but to be honest they have been and are pets first, workers second. I think that sometimes we can get too hung up on following prescribed ways of doing things,

We got no heating in our old house, so the lurcher dogs provide us with essential warmth   More the fecking merrier I say...

3 for me and all in the hoose. A GSP bitch that's 6...a Weimaraner bitch that's 4 and a Whippet dog that'll be 2 next month. All 3 are pets though i do a bit of lamping and ferreting with the Whippet. I have been considering another running dog but don't have the ground or work for 2 and i'm now thinking that i should have 4-5 years between the 2 running dogs. I'd rather concentrate on 1 for a few seasons at least before getting another ;)

At this moment I have 8 dogs indoors in my waggon, 5 dogs indoors in crates (they dont live in the crates, they are just in there for a few hours when they are not outside or supervised) and two psychdogs outside in kennels, but they are guard dogs not lurchers.
