walshie 2,804
I think if nukes were used, it wouldn't be a world war as it would be over too quickly for everyone to decide who's side they were going to be on. China will play a big part in keeping that nutter in check. Wouldn't mind seeing N.K nuked though.

stealthy1 3,964
My thoughts are, let Korea and the USA get on with it, its nothing to do with us, so we should keep out of it, and in all probability Korea will have a go, if you look at the last two that the USA were spying on, Saddam and Gaddafi, and you were Park Geun-hye, would you turn your back on them with out a fight, bonfire night may come early this year
redial 81
Let's hope not. It is a worry that it's not just USA, Soviet's as they were. back during the cold war day's these smaller countries could just start thing's off and if the big boy's start it's good night Vienna and anywhere else you can think of. jonah. 775
i sincerely hope not too. if its nukes we're all fckued. quickly. if its your traditional war , we're still fckued cos we've depleted our armed forces to a shadow of them former selves. still, if we keep our noses wedged up the yanks arses, then maybe they'll look after us.... JohnGalway 1,043
Nothing will happen, in terms of an all out "war". War for the NK regime means a stretched neck, they cannot possibly win a war. China will not support them as they would be cutting their own throats with the USA, Japan, and most likely the EU in business terms. NK will launch one or several test missiles, declare victory and f**k off back to the business of oppressing it's own people. Yesterday or the day before it was reported NK front line troops have begun Spring farming activities. There has also been an increased level of NK troops deserting their units. NK can make a big bang, no one denies that. But, if they do so, it's all bust from there on in for them. They're not stupid.

Mickey Finn 3,016
Seriously, The Korean situation has gone on long enough. I have a certain amount of sympathy for the North. It's like they are trapped in the past and can't break free. Their people are, by all accounts. Enduring a long, slow starvation. While just a few miles away. The South is one of the wealthiest nations around. Like in East Germany during the cold war. The main job of the North Korean Army on the DMZ. Is most likely keeping the NKs from fleeing south. At the risk of appearing in any way hopeful of the future. Maybe Bird will live long enough to see the North, and South united. ATB

Ps: Thanks for letting us purchase your missiles to get that sting to anywhere we might deem appropriate!

Maybe as a whole they aren't stupid, but unfortuantely they have a 30 year old maniac who is blind to the facts. There's nothing to say he's either blind or a maniac. NK has been belligerent for many decades. All this is, is a new era of sabre rattling replete with missiles and "da bomb". The end game plays out the same, NK forces have a good week, then get utterly brutalised. They have no more than 30 days war time fuel stock. While they have a LOT of equipment it's all outdated. They also have a LOT of troops, poorly trained and probably with an element of malnourishment in their lives at some point. Threatening and bullying is what they do.
Ideation 8,216
Why do you get the feeling that the yanks will just f**k it right up again? Bet they are wishing they hadn't brought in the whole nuke chucking thing now!
