gnasher16 30,597
I think its something thats got to be tried..............as long as it stays at just goal line technology and not " was he offside ".........." did he dive " etc etc..........the games just so quick now its unrealistic to expect a ref/linesman to be able to see if a balls a fraction of an inch over the line.....................but then that could be said about offsides as well so its a tricky one.

Cannae wait till you leave again!! It was on the news last night going on about the disallowed lampard goal but not one mention of the Ukraine one against yous, they turned it from new technical assistance to how it would have helped put them through. IMO it's a good idea, with regards to other decisions, example offside, I'm not quite sure but it would have it's benefits.
Peter Leemooch 160
its a slippery slope now where will it end.i think FIFA are right on this one the game has to be the same from grass roots up.this will just divide the game from the working man even more imo
TOMO 27,397
I can never understand why it's not in use ,,,, genraly after the ball has gone over the line and been dis aloud ,,it's usually in the goalies hands so in affect ,, the game has stoped,,, plenty of time for a forth official to look on a monitor,,, feck me watching on the telly ,, you get to see on a replay streight away. I always remember poor old chesterfield,, in the fa cup semi final think it was back in 94,, or 95 ,,, getting one dis aloud against Middlesbrough I think it was. As for hursts goal,,, that wasn't over

Most of us talk about bad ref decisions week in week out. Don't want that to change even though my clubs suffered with more than its fair share.
