mule1943 291
I thought a mule was bred for its song ,so what does size matter .

fireman 10,945
A mule will sing what ever it hears as a young un to some extent,a greenie mule won't sing goldie as well as a goldie mule will but it will sing a rough goldie song and in some cases will sing both songs if it hears both songs,As for size it matters on the show bench where Norwich mules will do better than say a fife mule but imo a Norwich mule is one ugly thing and you couldn't give me one no matter how many red rossettes it's won. I bred 2 greenie mules that sang both greenie and goldie song last year, bit of a hard/harsh sounding goldie song but goldie song all the same.
