Malt 379
75 year old fishery owner investigated over sign: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-coventry-warwickshire-22104151 Some woman who has been working with the Poles is quoted as saying 'People need to be educated about the many different nations in Eastern Europe..' What a f***ing cheek, how about suggesting the Eastern Europeans who come here are educated about what's acceptable here instead of everybody here needing to be educated about them? It's just cost that poor fella £10,000 to restock his place so he can continue to earn a living.. Quote Link to post
RubyTex 1,957
Aye i saw that. It's theft. And yet the inept wastes of space that we once called the Police are on his back to take the signs down. Are we even living in our own country anymore? Bow down to everyone FFS, tell them to f**k off if they don't like it! And there's that term 'racism' again, what a load of bollocks!! You're branded a racist if you even fart in the direction of someone these days. None of us British eat the bloody things do we?! So it must be Poles!!! We cooked one out the lake when i was in Belgium, f***ing rank. Like chewing on a clump of mud. No ta! f***ing 'Great' Britain my arse. 6 Quote Link to post
youcanthide...BANG 1,051
my local carp lake is targeted by polish all the time. not just the odd 3lb but big carp exceeding 20lb with the biggest believed to be around 25lb. pisses me right off to see skeletons all over the place but the owner can do fuk all unless he sees them doing it but if they pay there fares what can he do? however i once did a 24hr session and the bloke on the next peg along was polish and he had all the appropriate carp care gear and was a genuine nice bloke. worked at next, payed his way in life so to me he had every right to be there just a shame he gets branded a thief for the sake of the minority not following the rules. applies to most things in life like gun ownership and hunting 1 Quote Link to post

bobby blackheart 1,209
there was a fishery owner a few years back who did the same-it was in the angling times i think-used to enjoy fishing for barbel, chub on the wye and taff-around 2/3 seasons ago the fish seemed to disappear-no more 6lb chub or 15lb barbel dont bother no more they emptied the lake around the castle-we caught them-went to where they were living-swans,geese and ducks hanging in bathroom if its not the poles-then its the cong-1 guy thought he could spend 5 pound on a day ticket and fill his keepnet with silvers to take home with him told him to f**k off he kept coming back-he had to take a swim the silly cnut-gave up bailiffing not worth the stress. 2 Quote Link to post
brucemyster 75
Had the same down here, so many working on the farms in the fruit season it's like a swarm of locusts, they strip the supermarkets bare and the crime rate shoots through the roof. Not saying their all bad but when you see what they cook up in their caravans when they are staying on the farms a carp is probably a tasty treat. Normally find lines tethered under bushes and in difficult to fish swims, sneaky devils, one of the local farmers even caught his own foreign workers bbqing them straight out of his own lake!! j1985 1,984
A lake near me used to have loads of biggens in their stock lake which is also a boating lake, used to go down there with my mates in the summer holidays when I was a kid and catch em with bread of the surface and get a legger of the bailif if we was lucky, but we always put the fish back so no harm done just a bit of fun as never had the patience to sit round a lake waiting for a f***ing alarm to go off!!! There's none in there anymore, couldn't see one the other day!!! One guess who's had all them away.. They should have them signs up at every job centre and airport. 2 Quote Link to post

NEWKID 27,178
I was fishing the town stretch of our river few years back when a lad comes puffing along asking if I'd seen a group of men about, he said they were foreign probably polish... I hadn't but asked why, it turns out him and a few others had set up a protection group for the swans, there is a huge head of swans on the town stretch, they all get fed by the mums and kids etc and gather in big numbers ... It turns out there was nearly half the amount now ( something like 60 from 110 ) compared to 2 years ago.. They were now being monitored and it was all down to poles catching them for food.... These are near on tame birds wave a bit of bread at them and they eat out of your hand, if it was English lads they'd be up for treason... Quote Link to post
fitchet 788
Theres a difference between fish thieves and polish eating pasties. Big carp are worth thousands and people have caught onto this. The polish dont eat anything over 5 lb so im told. Either way these scummie b*****ds need heftier penalties for what they do imo .... Quote Link to post
samboy 314
Hang them all. Quote Link to post
walshie 2,804
They should have those signs hanging up at Dover, let alone his fishery. 3 Quote Link to post

hillbilly boy 109
I fished at a fisherie up outside Annan about 2 years ago and the owner was telling us he had to put up a big fence all round his land cause the Eastern Europeans had been up and were netting out the lakes Quote Link to post
