Sfs Hw97Kt's First Victim

Recommended Posts

Picked my rifle up from Tony Wall yesterday at a very quick turn around of under 2 weeks, went on his 20 m range and zeroed the scope, echoing others there is a considerable difference to the rifle, much smoother and the whole firing cycle seems much quicker!

Whilst the weather was good yesterday there was no time for playing, straight back to work, but this morning i took the rifle out and check zeroed at 30 yards, got some nice tight groupings well under a 5p peice, then on the way back the first victim landed in the tree around 35 yards away, the pigeons body was covered by another thick branch and his head was facing 7'o clock so this would have to be a well placed head shot!

Job done!

Well done buddy, SFS truly make exceptional rifles so much better with their tunes! Mines still waiting to be blooded as I've been working and the weathers been naff here! Hoping to get a few hours in tomorrow though!

Thanks and yes the tune is really noticeable, what pellets are you using with yours? Atb

AA Fields and Accupels/powapels in my 97k though the AA Fields gave the best readings over the chrono. Tried Superdomes and they were awful...25 FPS spread. Gonna try Superfields as they are much cheaper and are similar to AA Fields in weight and profile. Haven't seen them in the flesh though to properly compare ;-)
