What Do You Look For In A Pup?

All the above, but i also look for a happy tail wagging type, i would take a happy pup before the biggest, boldest etc, as long as it was well formed, if you,v got a happy dog then life's easyer for the both of you, buster.

Couple of things I look for nice bone formation tidy feet are all the pups clean and healthy and also the price and if possible look at the shape of the dog and the bitch and how do there feet look also there health wise how is there mentality and some times what age are parents not always but nice too know they were good enuf too get too a certain age

no i wouldnt buy it, i brought home 2 gorgeous bull greyhound pups that i bought at a show 2yrs ago only to lose both pups to parvo, i cant do that again.. If its not vaccinated its not coming home with me, i would happily pay extra if a pup was vaccinated

Because if you buy a healthy looking pup at a show and it turns out to be carrying parvo which hasn't shown yet then vaccinating will probably be the death of it.

At 6/8 weeks, impossible to really know what your picking in respect to the final product. . Usuals, go for confidence, big paws and all that. . But for me, avoid the obvious runt (if there is one) take your choice of sex and colour (if important), the rest is luck. .

 

 

Obviously maximise the potential of that individual pup by good feeding and nurture, the rest is genetics. .

That's my thoughts, not worth a great deal.
