most lurcher and terrier lads keep there dogs seperated in kennels as long as they get the stimulation they require i carn`t see there being any problem

no, i have dogs both in kennels and in the house the only diffence being i dont get covered in dog hair from them in the kennels

The only differnce is dog kept out side have a better jacket as the central heating in houses causes dogs to caste there coats all the time

I always keep a new pup in the house for a few weeks/Month to socialise and teach him manners, then introduce him slowly to the kennel, a few hours at first then add an hour here and there till he feels happy, just remember to keep him occupied as a pup boredem can send them stir crazy its important as a pup to create a good strong bond and keep there minds occupied, they will learn when its time to rest and play.Its true what others say they are equally as good in or out the main difference being they are harder outside and get use to the elements. there is some say that a house dog gets use to you more and your habits, but at the same time an outside dog gets so excited to see you when you go out to them there more willing to please, but this is open to discussion.

keep them outside that way it stops the kids undoing all the training you put into your dog .
