I didn't mean falsely using names, the point I was trying to get across is why not give the more recent dogs in some lines more credit?

 

ETA: or even the bitch's who rarely ever get credit for the animals they produce.

I think Sir Rich is right on this one. I only see the Pye dog as a name for reference now. Dogs that came later from that line hardly have a mention... So here's some....

Theyre very few bitches that can do what the dogs do thou.

 

Is that not how the legends are born?

If its a line dog of what ever your aways going keep the original name of line.

That's what i was thinking when I posted it. At least with Pye, if anyone said they have a dog out of it, he's been dead near 20 years! :laugh:
