milegajo 595
An in depth analysis of the legendary Weihrauch HW77. This particular gun has come from a collector and was professionally customized and modified, I believe in the 1980's, making it the fore-runner and grandfather of the later and widely renowned HW97.After spending (investing) a rather large some of money in the leading brands of pellets, this is one of many future videos exploring which pellet is best suited to this particular air rifle.Enjoy and thanks for watching! 1 Quote Link to post

Elliott 436
Nice vid Miles, it is a hellishly long HW77! Get her tuned and I'm sure it will perform even better. Interesting to hear that you prefer the kneeling position, I'm a prone man myself, I find it the steadiest position for me - not always the most practical though! 1 Quote Link to post

milegajo 595
You getting typists cramp or something? My trusty Netbook crapped out. Haha. Nah, I'm thriving in a world of seemingly limitless and inexhaustible electricity some making full use of what I couldn't before. I will churn out some more written work don't you worry Mr Mole. Definitely needs a bit of grease at the minimum. I zero from kneeling as I noted that that was the position I used most. I also find with springers that prone is a faff for re-loading. Subscribed to your youtube channel Elliott, looks superb, that 17hmr looks fun! Quote Link to post

That gun loved JSB's rather boringly. Part tins? Yup! 8 of em with only five missing! Quote Link to post

Subscribed to your youtube channel Elliott, looks superb, that 17hmr looks fun! Are you keeping the 77 or selling it on? Thanks for subbing, thought I was already subscribed to your channel but it seems not - I am now Yes the .17HMR is ok but the freedom of an air rifle can't be beaten. FAC is very restrictive, possibly better if you have an 'open' ticket Quote Link to post
milegajo 595
I really hoped to keep the HW77 as its not one I'm likely to find again. But; Not my preferred calibre, It was one of three guns (The two HW35's), Was too long for my gunslip! Too pristine and 'nice' for what I want to throw about the fields and trees, Just a touch too front heavy for little old me It didn't hang about either, sold earlier today! Quote Link to post
