My Dogs Been Bitten !!!!

hi just wanted a bit of advice the other day my mums dog bit my rocket and now his face seems to have swolen to the size of a tennis ball took him to the pasa on the day it happend but they don't seem to want to help me. iv cleand it the best I can and it dose not seem to have gone down at all. what should I do ? kind regards rocket dog1988

Take him to the vet as soon as............canine teeth can go deep and infections are more than likely.......with a swelling that size that has remained the same size days after you may well need anti biotics! Dont delay, localised infections if not treated can cause all sorts of trouble, you dont want it spreading and as its on his head, its very close to bone and an infection in bone is very bad news.......get it sorted as soon as :thumbs:

Think he means the charity PDSA sounds like pus could be in the puncture wound bathing it with warm water and salt or water/hydrogen peroxide may help to draw the fluid, also a course of broad spectrum antibiotics the vets is ok if you can afford but if you cant go back to the PDSA and tell them the dog is suffering and needs treatment.
