The Scum Return....ferrets Stolen Brockenhurst New Forest Sunday

Recommended Posts

The thing that baffles me, is how they know the adresses of the ferret owners, as they won't be going through random gardens. If it was other hunters taking them there wouldn't be so many taken.

Antis have hacked this forum (and others) before, surely they'd be able to get the IP address of people commenting about having ferrets?

They can come to mine if they want ;) won't go how they planned let me assure you of that :whistling:

That's what worries me about people coming to my house to collect stuff, for example if i've sold something on ebay...you never know who's going to turn up, and they or their mates might come back lat

You could well be right there about a small gang going a bit further than most of them buddy ,and i am sure that someone will catch them at some point but it will be a shame if the person that catche

I really hope you find out who they are pal ,as it takes real scum to rob a man of his ferrets dogs etc ...some old school justice would go along way here i feel

I've heard ferrets are being taken for dog baiting don't no how true but I have my CCTV on my kennels and hutch now b*****ds sorry but carnt be held responsible if they come in my garden hope the fella finds his ferrets atb

Because its happening all over I think its organised. Also no ones been caught yet and I think thats a clue. If this is being done by organised antis they are probably gonna be observing the properties before stealing the ferrets! I am suspicous by nature and I for one will be keeping an eye out, but should someone wanna come and take any of my animals, make damn sure you dont get caught :)

I have a a rule i always meet people at my sons, as he is a townie and dose not keep any ferrets or dogs and that way i think it cuts the risk of things getting stolen,i know this may seem a bit long winded always meeting at my lads 25 miles away but has worked for me so far....as we all know our sport/lifestyles attracts interests from all types of other parties :hmm: and i would rather be cautious than complacent and pay for it with the loss of my ferrets etc.

What we need to do chaps is get some of our members to join the other side and maybe get some inside info. They must have sites and forums like we do.

I would happily give a ferret to anyone if they asked nicely and I was sure it was going to be cared for well and treated as well as I treat mine.

But to take another mans livestock is totally wrong on every count...Maybe they dont realize that what they are doing is not for the better welfare of the animals they are stealing.

Such a dam shame for the animals involved.

I think the Antis are spying on these sites etc etc and taking these animals in the thinking that if they take away a mans tools,he cant do the job...little do they realize that they are doing more harm than good all round.

From what i have heard so far..nothing point to your run of the mill thiefs...they wouldnt go to all that trouble and danger to steal ferrets or dogs, and once they were into your property they would be taking more than a ferret.

It will be some little renegade gang of Antis who are going a bit further than the norm for a bit of Kudos within the Ranks of Anti Warfare.. (thats my theory)

One thing is for certain...at some point they will get caught on camera/or by the dogs or maybe a neighbour ? Or even a fellow member of there gang if the reward was big enough.

I know theres a few chaps gagging to catch them in the act.

:hmm:Personaly,...I do not think these localised thefts have anything to do with troubled and miss-guided folk who are not keen on the rabbiting business,....in fact, I believe it to be,... just the opposite...

so you think someone is deliberatly nicking ferrets, seems a big risk for little reward :hmm:

CCTV, security lights, infra red motion detectors that send a chime to a receiver in my bedroom, padlocks, bolts, 2 lines of thorn bushes out the back fence...and i still worry  luckily if anyone's about the dogs kick off big style so that might put people off too.

Guys

Guys forget the anti, vivisection, dog baiting theories, as CW states these are being taken by rabbiting fellas.....albeit on the dark side of life.......and yes we have had a lot of info over the last few years although the epidemic is now much worse...there is no secret an under 16 year old from a well known member of a terrier/ lurcher club was picked up in Southampton in the early hours of a week day morning, with a pillow case of stolen ferrets....the police returned the ferrets and the lad was let of.....then again this year gloves/ balaclavas were collected at another ferret break in and the DNA was to a known person.....the police again let this under age person go......they seem to all know where we live and regularly farm these ferrets from us...god knows why so many....

Until one breaks rank (there is a very hefty reward!!), the full story may not be fully known......so just do as I have and re view your security, associates and build up your defences.......sooner or later one will bump into something or meet my imported GSD.....or find one of the presents we have waiting.....

Keep Alert.

James

I thought i was just being paraniod but seems i am not alone so i can't be wrong :tongue2: but i did sell a fishing boat on ebay and i did have the idiots turn up to my fiends farm where it was in his barn and that farm did have a trailer stolen few days later never before has there been theft there so coincidence maybe but i think not :hmm: that was few years ago and have stuck to my nobody at my home policy since then  and if that makes me nuts or anti social then so be it :D ....And blinddate i reckon some of the ferrets are stolen by other hunters so to speak that's why i don't have them at my home either :D
