Did a few hours with the rimmy and airgun tonight started really slow didn't think we were going to get many then things picked up when it got darker, tried out a new laser which worked rather well i thought any way here's a couple of pics of the bag and the new laser.

There's a bit of a story regarding the laser illuminator it came from the Ukraine from a fella on e bay about 100 pound cheaper than they flog them for over here but the fellas on BBS think they are copies and are not the real thing but it worked well last night.

No Ian its a cobra Merlin a poor man's Archer works pretty well though, the longest shot we had last night with it was around the 70 yard mark

Magwitch, have you ever experienced your illuminator to apparently fade so that you can hardly see anything through the nv unit, turn it off for a while then it is back to normal ?, replaced all the batteries , i am only using best quality batteries, when this thing is working it is not bad out to about 65 yds but now the bloody thing keeps fading.

I have had this happen a couple of times but only if i use it for a long time, wasn't sure if it was the laser or unit though. does your laser take CR123A battery's if so have a look at item number 150161013734 on fleabay it might save you a few bob

happened to me with a yukon 100mw illuminator,it was a loose connection in end cap.all the best

Magwitch, i have just bought twelve CR123 energizers, and eighty duracell plus AA for £61.35 delivered next day from battery force, does that sound reasonable ?.

Woodman, i think mine is more like what has happened to Magwitch as it does seem to happen when i have been scanning for a while.
