i use mine to fill my dustbin they work very well

cut casings off, scape out the bit left in the end caps, squeeze 2 end caps together and drill a small hole through the edge fit a chain + ring and you've got a key ring. Round lighters fit into spent cartridges well, drill a small hole in the bottom of the end cap for the refillable versions, preferably before you put the lighter in!!

there was an article in the BASC magazine about homemade cradles that used a spent cartridge....thats about the most inventive use I've ever heard of
