gibbo1973 187 Posted April 8, 2013 Report Share Posted April 8, 2013 just been to check on my magpie call bird and found it been eaten ,no pics but neck eaten right down to the back head left on but its arse eaten out and guts gone???(breast left alone ) its been in the trap overnight ,the larsen is made from chicken mesh should i re new it with smaller mesh ??? what do you thinks attacked it and eaten it ????????? any tips please i only do this for our syndicate and not a full time keeper ,i would phone a keeper but mobile in for repair cheers gibbo Quote Link to post

gibbo1973 187 Posted April 15, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 15, 2013 today ive checked my other maggie which is 1 mile away this one also been killed this time its been killed and the culprit has entered from the bottom mesh and tried to dragg it thru the bottom only succeeding its head half way thru ,again head eaten ie brain and left rest ,ive just baited 2 fenn s inside the one trap and outside of the other , ive baied my live trap up with chicken and been activated twice now but no culprit ,guess its smaller than 1" diameter the little shit , ive covered the live trap up with tight mesh but need some 1" gaps to set it with y hands so fenn traps hopefully will catch it ll keep you posted lads Quote Link to post
