She allowed normal working man the chance to better themselves with enterprise award schemes. Allowed him to own his own house. Stood up for the country. Yes she closed a lot of heavy industry but it was getting strangled by unions and causing harm to the country as a whole. If you wanted to work, Maggie allowed it. We went from paying pounds pe year rates to 1k per year Poll Tax over night for a bed terrace house, while up the road some Millionaire living in his mansion on his own was only paying 350 pounds per year.Yeah the sly bitch hammered the working class and looked after the rich. She only gave working class folk the right to buy their council houses so she could control them. She gave them something to loose the sly c**t. RIH. Something to lose lol. Something to work for surely. No one forced you to buy your house, like everyone else who had a mortgage, if you could afford one, you went for it. Maggie. The mentality of voting labour just because you live in a certain area or are from a certain background is just plain silly, a monkey could be in the labour seat around here and it would get voted into parliment ffs. We didn't vote the tories in though did we.......... The country was indecisive with the traditional "I'll die before voting tory" attitude of the north. So how exactly were they supposed to repeal the hunting act? Who's gonna regulate taxes? Who's gonna control defense? Health and social care? The law?............. If not politicians?
