gnasher16 30,598
I dont normally moan about sport and money etc.....but as a lifelong follower of West Ham from one end of the country to the other, this weekend has questioned even my loyalty to my club. We wasnt going to go for the whole weekend due to the ridiculous prices the hotels were asking in Liverpool because of the grand national....but seeing how i always like the trip and like the people up there we went early Saturday and stayed over.......did the stadium tour......did our annual laying of a wreath for the 96 Get inside the ground and lumbered with the worst shittiest seats in the ground But ok you accept you,ve done a fortune over the weekend, respected the club your visiting and their tragedy with flowers and an impeccable minute silence.....accept the shittiy view.....the 450 mile round trip etc etc.................................but to have your own team come out and completely fail to even try to win the football match,i found that totally unnacceptable.............it was the most boring game ive ever seen......we are not going to be relegated so why not come out and try to win the game.........so i ask, does a loyal dedicated football fan not deserve at the very least to have his team try to win the football match ? roebuck220 80
Yes Seen it all to often with Celtic, going away to play teams they could and should be doing by 3 or 4 goals and the players just not putting the effort in, then go 1.0 down with 10 minutes to go and all of a sudden tempo gets raised and having an attempt every minute or so. If they got paid a small basic wage and a big win bonus it would be better for everyone including the club.
gnasher16 30,598
i know its only highlights but cant see a problem i think they earned there point ... Cant see a problem.................we came out an attacked for the first 10 minutes............then shut up shop...........in the second half we had 1 attack that resulted in a corner getting cleared off the line.................our players were running the ball into the corner flag with 20 minutes to go !..............This is not the West Ham i know..........id rather go out and play football in the championship than play this horrible scaredycat shit Allardyce has us playing..............like i say....fans deserve more,we was booing our own side at times yet you wont find more loyal fans than Hammers............you can only push people loyalties so far. WILF 48,415
A point away at the Scousers is good going if you ask me!! A point away to a very mediocre team is not a result, the way there season has gone you should be going up there and attacking them. JMHO

Fear Off Relegation , Once Teams Hit The Premier League And Buy/Pay That Leagues Transfer Fee And Wages Relegation Is A Disaster Financially , Look At Wolves , Players Sold Others Taken A Wage Cut All Adds To Ruin Right Through The Club , West Ham Got A Point Today That Will Give Them An Edge Over There Rivals , If They'd Off Lost Then Teams In The Relegation Area Are Only 2 Wins From Dragging West Ham Into A Relegation Fight , Allardyce Has For Yrs Sent Teams Out "Not To Lose" More Than To Win , He Was A Master Off That Philosophy At Bolton And Id Bet The Fans There Would Love To Have Him Back After There Fall From The Top League , Blackburn Sacked Him And Same Applies There , Maybe Newcastle Fans Wouldnt Want Him Back , I Bet Gold & Sullivan Where Delighted With The Result . . Be Disastrous Going Too The New Stadium In The Championship , So Yes Chairmen , Managers , Players And The T Lady Only Care About There Team Being In The Premiership And If That Means Ugly Points At There Rivals So Be It , And Allardyce Is A Manager Who's Record For Staying In The Premiership Is V.Good. This Is There 1st Season Back And Staying There Would off Been There Target At The Start Off The Season Which With Another Win Should Be Secured !

I totally understand the economics of where we are at as a club and am quite happy to earn a point away to a bigger club...........what im saying is,should a club ( any club ) be rewarded for not playing ?.........We,ve all seen games where a team go,s away and parks the bus.....but as a West Ham fan thats not something im used to seeing.....before Allardyce i never saw a West Ham side go away and play negative football like that...... My point being,as an away fan does our club not OWE us something,anything..............in hindsite i wouldnt of paid a fiver or travelled to the end of the road to watch that........how long can a club play on fans loyalties ? we took 2500 up there yesterday, now what if next time we only took 50......economics works both ways in most industries.......yet as loyal football fans who follow the badge we get nothing back. Let,s see 0 point for a draw and 3 for a win then see how managers like Allardyce fair......at least a fan then gets to see his team be competetive, you get rewarded for winning or punished for not winning................we got rewarded yesterday yet ive never been so down on an away day ! Astanley 11,592
I could never fathom the appointment of big sam in the first place ,he,s the antithesis of everything West Ham FC stands for .
WILF 48,415
This season Liverpool are just a name, not the power house of football they once was, they have been like that for a few seasons IMHO They shouldn't hold any fear for a club like west ham in the position we are in, we should have gone up there looking for the win We always take good numbers away and I agree with Gnasher, for some lads that day will have been a big dent in there wage packet and the team is almost honour bound to compete in my eyes
NEWKID 27,876
I only saw the highlights but I see what you West Ham fans are saying.. At some clubs you become accustomed to a certain way of playing and as fans you don't want to see a change to the old clubs ethos.. There's a lot sides over the years even as an opposing fan you enjoy watching, I would say West Ham are one of them. I've never been convinced big Sam is the right manager for a club like West Ham, his style of play is never going to please the fans... But as everyone knows football is driven by money more than ever now the cost of relegation far out ways pretty football, which is a shame.. Fans still want to be entertained and that's maybe the point, managers, chairman etc are missing... It's all results now, I suppose would you rather lose 4-3 in a thriller or pick up your point in a 0-0 bore??
