It's probably not going to turn quite as well as a dog with a full tail maybe, but who cares, the poor thing deserves to have it's fun, and if the best it can manage is a bit of ferreting, and spinning over the odd bits and bobs on the lamp, and out mooching, then that's fecking fantastic, seeing where it came from.

Well done to you for giving her a go mate, she may just surprise you, she certainly has some inner fire, to have come through what she did. She might just surprise you.

Yep ill have her ferreting once she's fit and try Afew easy slips on the lamp I'm not a lad after big bags anyway , I'm more interested in watching the dogs work, she's keen she saw a rabbit the other morning in the garden she was on the lead but was trying to get off the lead , going nuts it ran and she wanted to go , ill try her once she's fit and let you all know  thanks mate

Just had one of mine docked after a barbed wire incident and was told he'll never catch a rabbit again???

So I figure after stitches are out hell go back on the flirt pole and learn to turn again but anything bigger I doubt hell have an issue.

As Chalk's said, given the opportunity your dog will adapt its style.

My mate Timmyk had a 3/4 grey/bull that was rapid, he was a bloody good catch dog too, a docked tail never made a bit of difference.

As has also been said the Pye dog had a docked tail from an accident with a car door, mattered not a jot...!
