Your entitled to your own opinion, but your missing the point I'm trying to make. The reason for me showing the uncut version, was to show that the video which was being sold to joe public, was not a

Both dogs shove the hare into the dyke & the hare goes up a suff/drain, they come out of the dyke, Tay makes his way back to me, then stops for a piss, the other dog spots another hare and off he

Tay ,the black dog had explosive early pace, but lacked the stamina of the other dog ,[think it was Gary Lee's saluki x Sargeant]. Tay put everything he had into the original course , you can see he

Good to see clip geoff, are the dogs mainly whippet with a small amount of greyhound blood, little flying machines whatever they are

Tay was 5/8 greyhound 3/8 whippet weighed 49/50lbs & stood 24 1/2", I bred a litter 6 months ago & kept back a smaller version of Tay, she's about 20" tts & weighs 29lb a very stocky bitch.S5001202.jpg

should of caught there hare anyhow doubled up

You must have led a sheltered life craig, I've seen hundreds of saluki type dogs doubled up over the years and didn't catch the hare that they was slipped on.

Fair play Geoff - in regards to all 3 clips and that Zak had amazing speed!

One thing though. I don't know if you can or not but I'd try and change the title of the uncut field fare challenge clip to say that it's uncut otherwise they both have exactly the same name on youtube and people that haven't read this thread won't know if there's a difference or not. That's just me being picky an slightly OCD though

black dog got blown away and chucked the towel in while the red dog was still on the hare thats how it looks from here? good to see some old footage though

Tay ,the black dog had explosive early pace, but lacked the stamina of the other dog ,[think it was Gary Lee's saluki x Sargeant].

Tay put everything he had into the original course , you can see he is" rocking horsing", at the end of it, but still trying to chase.

.When the fresh hare jumps, he tries to continue but has absolutely nothing left, no shame in that.

I saw Tay run on the fens when he was older , and a little past his best because of injuries , he ran a brother to a dog of mine.

He was a genuine dog, and owned by a genuine fella.

That little dog couldn't half run

This is one of mine in 2003 breaking the track record, he's in the black jacket, he knocked rabbits over for fun, he went back 4 generations to Country Music

It's surprising how many people think that if you race your dogs, that you don't work them  when the miners strike was on, we had meat on the plate 5 days a week, and I mean meat ;) I've even been to jail for poaching in the 70s.

ps I jumped for joy today when it came on the radio that the witch Maggie Thatcher had died :boogy: , unfortunately it was peacefully :censored:
