sowhat 1,572
should of caught there hare anyhow doubled up You must have led a sheltered life craig, I've seen hundreds of saluki type dogs doubled up over the years and didn't catch the hare that they was slipped on. 2 Quote Link to post
Terrier Sam 297
Fair play Geoff - in regards to all 3 clips and that Zak had amazing speed! One thing though. I don't know if you can or not but I'd try and change the title of the uncut field fare challenge clip to say that it's uncut otherwise they both have exactly the same name on youtube and people that haven't read this thread won't know if there's a difference or not. That's just me being picky an slightly OCD though ATB Sam Quote Link to post

Giro 2,648
Good clips.. Cheers for firing them up fella I am sure my dog would of been lying in the ditch, after two on the bounce. Mind mine are just curs What other delights do you have on VHS Quote Link to post
inan 841
black dog got blown away and chucked the towel in while the red dog was still on the hare thats how it looks from here? good to see some old footage though Tay ,the black dog had explosive early pace, but lacked the stamina of the other dog ,[think it was Gary Lee's saluki x Sargeant]. Tay put everything he had into the original course , you can see he is" rocking horsing", at the end of it, but still trying to chase. .When the fresh hare jumps, he tries to continue but has absolutely nothing left, no shame in that. I saw Tay run on the fens when he was older , and a little past his best because of injuries , he ran a brother to a dog of mine. He was a genuine dog, and owned by a genuine fella. 2 Quote Link to post

sowhat 1,572
It's surprising how many people think that if you race your dogs, that you don't work them when the miners strike was on, we had meat on the plate 5 days a week, and I mean meat I've even been to jail for poaching in the 70s. ps I jumped for joy today when it came on the radio that the witch Maggie Thatcher had died , unfortunately it was peacefully 2 Quote Link to post
