pete123 45
Cheers Paul's. I'm only after a .410 for bunnies do you know of a fac .410 then it would only be a variation? Quote Link to post
Ratsmasher 36
mossberg do a 5 shot pump action which would be sect.1 dont know what you want to use it for exactly but i think if I wanted bunny shotgun it would be a bit bigger then a .410 Im no expert but just a suggestion Quote Link to post
pete123 45
I'm not shotgun expert either why would you say bigger? I was thinking a smaller cartridge as I only wanted it for close range bunnies that poo out a hedge row on a bit of land I have been given permission that wouldn't really be safe for my .22lr Quote Link to post

I was thinking a smaller cartridge as I only wanted it for close range bunnies that poo out a hedge row on a bit of land I have been given permission that wouldn't really be safe for my .22lr Depends how close really if less then 20 yards fair enough but Im sure I read somewhere that a 28bore has 60% more shot then a 410 for not a big increase in cartridge size. If it was me I'd go for a 12 bore though - cheap cartridges not as limited on what you can shoot and range and the gun will be cheaper too Might be a bit louder but you could get a hushpower Hope that helps Quote Link to post
pete123 45
Is it particularly hard to be granted an fac shotgun? I am thinking I may just put in for a variation. As I have been asked to do more pigeon control and rabbits along a hedge row in a smaller field I'm thinking a multi shot shotty would be perfect tool! Quote Link to post
