I'm not shotgun expert either why would you say bigger? I was thinking a smaller cartridge as I only wanted it for close range bunnies that poo out a hedge row on a bit of land I have been given permission that wouldn't really be safe for my .22lr

Got fac air on my ticket can't decide on what to get though would have had your rapid if it was .22

it brought that for a stud farm job where i couldnt use anything else, did the job great untill the stud farm was sold and they had there own blokes :cray::laugh: :laugh:

How hard would it b to change the barrel or is that opening a can of worms with it being on ticket as a .20

its sold now mate :thumbs: however when i applied for the variation i put down .22 cal and when that .20 cal came up i rang the flo and they said just buy it and send the paperwork in, this i did without any problems at all :thumbs:

Depends how close really if less then 20 yards fair enough but Im sure I read somewhere that a 28bore has 60% more shot then a 410 for not a big increase in cartridge size. If it was me I'd go for a 12 bore though - cheap cartridges not as limited on what you can shoot and range and the gun will be cheaper too

Might be a bit louder but you could get a hushpower

Is it particularly hard to be granted an fac shotgun? I am thinking I may just put in for a variation. As I have been asked to do more pigeon control and rabbits along a hedge row in a smaller field I'm thinking a multi shot shotty would be perfect tool!
