Ive said it before ive seen rabbits kick fukc out of a ferret far worse than any rat ....

Must be some big fecking bunnies

Well as i said i beg to differ you have never seen a ferret that's been thrashed by a rat? if thats the case then they must be some fecking ferrets in wakefeild

iv never seen a rat or rabbit beat a ferret pound for pound - one on one the ferret came from the family of weasels and stoats when they bite they do not let go until the prey is dead

i dont use ferrets for rats, but as kids we ratted around maggot farms, the ferrets did take some punishment and the wounds did go wrong/bad most times ,but that was due to our lack of care i would think, some would love the rats some were no good on em,these days i would rather dig rats or smoke em,dont liike to see ferrets get hurt lol,not all rats bolt easy to ferrets thats for sure.

one of my jills like a bits of ratting..so did her mother.. but its not something I actively seek out to do..But sometimes they come across them in the rabbit warrens etc etc..Much more effective with a smoker and a few good terriers.

Jaspet, great photo, did you just stock train both dohgs to ferrets. I've got one terrier use to them but the other isn't yet, just don't want that killing frenzy and a ferret to get taken

be very carefull mate with the terrier and ferrets...if your not 150% certain..get a smoker and save the worries. . cheaper and safer all round.
