Country Joe 1,411
BPR are you sure there is no difference with the ingredients between Gain 28 and The Gain puppy. What is the price difference between the two.
Rory4 267
Just been on the phone to them very helpful and honest lady Puppy and sapling 29% protein and more vitamins, calcium etc £20 Gain 28% protein £13 She said alot lurcher people feed the gain 28% but most greyhound people use puppy and sapling till 2 years old then put on gain 28. I went with the puppy and sapling for how long it will last only extra £7, was £7 delivery to sunny Somerset
B.P.R 2,798
Im sure the puppy and saplimg will have more of something in it...for the extra price....they have to say that dont they But i would just go with the 28%.... its done all my dogs fine... I wonder why they took it off the bag? Because they were losing too much money i guess Its your call which you want to buy..... But 7 quid over 2 years is over 150 quid...... Ill stick with the 28 for mine and any pups i get in future.
Rory4 267
It says on site Also suitable for Growing Greyhounds, Pregnant, and Lactating Bitches I don't mind paying the extra £7 the bag will last ages, women said to me it was fine to feed the gain 28 but the puppy and sapling had extra stuff she was reading it off the bag she went and got one, she didn't mind what one I bought.
