is anyone lucky enough to be given the go ahead from farmers to run the long ears? no names need be mentioned, but round where im from the farmers/gamekeepers go to extremes to keep us away.

 

would love to find a nice place tucked away that nobody runs or even knew what was on it,

The farm I go on let's me run them. The landowner is called staples and the fields he owns with the best hares on, and no overlooking farmhouses are the fields just down the a17 at east heckington. He locks the gate to the stone road way, which leads down to some barns which I park in, but he leaves the key under a log next to the gate. He normally lets me go at a weekend as him and his game keeper go salmon fishing at week ends so sent there. I'm lucky to have this permission to myself as he would let anyone go if they dress smart, but thankfully nobody thinks to ask him. Roll on next season, woop woop.

I was walking the dogs down a public footpath that went through so big land a game keeper pulled up on us he asks are you travellers no we says ok well mr ward does all the coursing on my land do you know hem no we says ok lads have a good day and off he went we could not believe how lade back he was if only they were all like that mr ward is a lucky f****r lol

Sound's just like a place i found last season got a nice footpath right through the middle of it,and guess who's got a keen saluki cross with the scenting ability of a bloodhound
