Rannerdale Fell...

Recommended Posts

Was up early this morning as the young un isn't very well so thought I'd take advantage of the situation and the weather to so headed off the few miles to the Fells, holy shit the road leading there was 6ft deep in snow but thankfully the snow plough had pushed it all to the verges..you could just see the road signs above the packed snow..anyway we had a good old march up the Fell,to tell you the truth I ain't a lover of heights and felt non to steady on my feet when I reached the top lol..when I looked down into the valley on the backside of the Fell it was a really long old way down...it was the 1st time I had been as high as that and I'll not be in a hurry to go there again haha..views were amazing :-) just had the pups and the Pom..3 1/2 hours from setting off out the house until walking back through the gate...
