Bobby I've got a mate in europe & he's been digging all over europe,the states & seen plenty of jagds work have also try himself & he said they don't come close to well bred patt when it comes to earth work!!! Atb cbx

ye russell works hes jagds. he works every dog in hes kennel block and as for people wanting pats and not jagds could be because so are too big to go to ground with them been breed up in size for hog hunting

Sounds like a bunch of bull spit if you ask me.....These guys in eastern Europe don't have to sneak around or beg permission to hunt their dogs. I haven't seen them here hocking dogs either.......I haven't heard them claim they were better than anything else.... I haven't heard them say they were anything but good enough for them. On the flip side we've got a bunch of internet experts here either outright speculating on the quality of dogs half way around the world..... or some he said she said second hand someone I knew way back when hunted with something THEY thought was a jagdterrier. Hunt what works for YOU..... and others will do the same. I've seen my share of shitty jagdterriers.... hell I've owned a BUNCH of them..... but I've seen my share of shitty black dogs too. This silly same old same old over which type of dog is better because of the name tag you hang on it ass gets old.....People that need good dogs will have them or know where to get them. And where I come from when you ask a man for a favor in one breath.... and call him names in the next your pretty much a POS punk.

I wouldn't have posted the PMs on the public forum but that's me.....That said he didn't reveal anything other than you were asking him if he knew where you could get a good breeding pair, and in his defense.... I doubt he's had time to get use to the internet pissing contests where people try to prove their dogs worth to people across the world with words.

I hope you are feeding the best Bobby....nothing would make me happier. As for myself I'm only looking for good enough for me.

 

@Bitchie....I personally know of German jagds that are dug to regularly..... Sure most lack the grit they used to be known for because of the roundcastle testing and change in culture the antis have tried to force down our throats. But some are hard as it gets and have proven it year in and year out... Unicorns??? Seriously??? I think we both know better.

And if the dogs you've been feeding and breeding for the last fifteen years are all you need.... why ask him to help you import a unrelated dog and bitch to the uk?
