i give both dogs 4 mile 4 times a week running on the roads behind a motor,, it dose very little,keeping the nails down, iff truths known,,my dog hates them being cut,,will not were at all...but he will stand there and let you file them,,,, try the dog when he,s add good day out and nacked,, he mite were it a bit more,, some dogs dont mind whats so ever,from an early age i kept on me old dogs feet, all his life, it stops the quik from growing to suit the nail,,,
