avent 0 Posted April 2, 2013 Report Share Posted April 2, 2013 hello all new here I have recently purchased a lakefield 64b semi auto .22 rimfire rifle with a parker hale and moderator and simmons 8 point 3-9*40 scope which is brand new I was wondering does any one here use one of these scopes and how do you find them I am new to rifle shooting Quote Link to post

shootlodge 146 Posted April 15, 2013 Report Share Posted April 15, 2013 if your comfertable with it, it adjusts, you can get it clear & focused it will do the job. I have used 4x40 for everything from magpies on a airrifle to a 303 stalking rifle,without a mod with great success. Far too much snobbery on scopes ' i have this & that crew ' etc. If it is collecting fresh air around it, its cool. If its dust ............ its wasted ! Quote Link to post
