Everyone who doesn,t get money back, should boycott it, and teach the greedy b*****ds who the gaffer is, because without traders, there,s no show. Its not as if the cla is a poor organisation is it? I'm with you on this one the traders should get their money back, as I see it! the CLA organisers still managed to make a few quid on site fee's where-as traders like yourself purchase extra stock for the fair and if your suppliers don't take it back your out of pocket, until your able to move it? Deako 0 Posted July 31, 2007 Author Report Share Posted July 31, 2007 Tom, As traders, we have all been discussing this and estimate that the greedy feckers at the CLA have raked in some THREE MILLION POUNDS on traders fees alone. They cancelled the show a full week before it was due to take place, and therefore, didn't provide what they had charged for. We are, as a group, currently looking at making an official complaint of theft against the CLA board of directors. Police involvement may make them sit up and listen. Cnuts. I've never had a stand anywhere at a show or fair but to me its common sense that they have to refund the stand fees: unless they do I can see a lot of holes in the CLA avenues next year!
