Ferreting In April ?

Hi guys was wondering if anyone still ferrets at this time of year is it ok to do so if you release the small baby's that you could catch, some mates of mine were out yesterday and invited my to have a look out tomorrow on a farm that wants rid of rabbits should I or shouldn't I that's the question

Its ment to be any month with R in it i was told growing up...but to many young about for myself i stopped weeks ago ;)

That was the saying when i was a boy but speaking to some of the older boys they say that they've had young all year round. If it's pest control then go for it though a locator and spade would be needed imho :thumbs:

To old to be digging every few mins and my lad is to lazy ;) will leave it till next season and let the young lads knock themselves out for now :D

Mine is the same...fcukin xbox's :censored: All i wanted to do when i was a boy was get home from school and go down the river fishin or chasin rabbits with my JRT's...loved it. All they want to do is play games. The boy was interested in the shooting for a while but hated the ferretin...can't understand it :hmm:

My lad wants to come just dose not want to dig :huh: will come ratting loves it if lifting bales with the fork hes there rain wind or shine,but you show him a spade he becomes slower in movements and give me the :whistling: look,my other lad is showing a interest he's 14 will teach him how to handle a shovel me thinks ;)

Taking the blue pocket rocket out this week so hopefully there's a few rabbits still wanting to play . time will tell im normally chasing my tail trying to get round the permissions to the ferreting done by the end of april to move on to snaring and trapping
