Outlaw Pete 2,224 Posted April 16, 2013 Report Share Posted April 16, 2013 Unfortunately here you rarely see the low flying acrobatics, normally they fly above the buildings but you can't mistake their sound, shape or flying style. Interesting. You see, my hearing's so shot now that I'm simply unable to hear many birds calls. Maybe I can't hear swallows any more. Perhaps I've also simply forgotten that they make any noise while flying? I seem to recall they twitter, whilst perched on the wires as they get together ready for the off, at the end of summer. Flying above the buildings though? Distinctive shape? Not making a sort of shrill, screaming sound, are they? Like a stretched out 'E' sound? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
